DiscOver our craft

Our delicate aperitif is as unique as the land that inspired it. Artistry of the past Combined with a thirst for progression into the future - it’s all in the detail.

Sourced from the very best soil

The indulgent sweetness of strawberries and cream comes from Chapel Down’s Pinot Noir Rosé wine, which is made using grapes grown in terroir similar to the Champagne region. The south-facing chalk soils and warm climate combine to produce the very best growing conditions alongside the world-class winemaking team, who use their extensive knowledge and the latest techniques to create truly unforgettable flavour profiles. To enhance the flavour of our aperitif even more, distilled Chardonnay grape skins are added, creating wonderfully light and aromatic tones.

Made with freshly foraged fruit

The Capreolus Distillery brings the fresh zing of raspberry, which tastes like it’s straight from the field with its intense floral high notes. Working with local farmers and committed to using fruit at the peak of ripeness, the team handpick berries from orchards nestled within the Malvern Hills. Each berry is selected and washed in small batches before gently crushing and fermenting them to elevate the flavour. The macerates create an explosion of aroma on the palate with hints of geranium, citrus, spices and mint. Then follows the triple-distillation process, which captures the essence of up to 3,000kg of fresh fruit, resulting in an exquisite eau de vie.

Brought to life by a creative CoLlaboration

The eau de vie is aged for at least 9 months for optimum maturation before fresh water is added. All of the natural ingredients are then expertly mixed together. World-class rosé wine and top-quality eau de vie come together to create the perfect union, infused with a delicate balance of blossoms, roots, spices, and wormwood.

Never replicated. Never imitated. 100% AKER.
